The hymn, “Oh Lord, grant me Charity” was composed in occasion of the 150th anniversary of the foundation of the Institute.
Fr. Amelio Cimini is the author of both the music and the text, where language and notes express the vibrancy of charity that St Bartolomea Capitanio and St Vincenza Gerosa were passionately drawn to.
The words are taken from their own writings or sayings, making of the whole composition their ‘Song to Charity’, taken up and lived by members of their Institute.

TROPPO MI PIACE ( I am passionately fond of charity) comprises the songs of a Musical and those of "il Canto della “Carità" (Songs on Charity) that are inspired by the life and spirituality of Bartolomea Capitanio.
They were composed in occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Bartolomea; they focus on her experience of being drawn by “that blessed charity, which Jesus practised throughout His life”, and which drove her to dedicate herself totally to God for His glory and for the benefit of the young, the poor and the sick.
